Allwest is attending NeoCon 2023 and we are so excited to enjoy Chicago along with attend one of our favorite show of the year!
The energy buzzing in this lively city is sure to excite and entertain, no matter the reason for travel. Work, personal or BOTH – Chicago has you covered. If you are interested in commercial design, professional development, networking, architecture or just an authentic slice of deep-dish pizza- you must book a trip to Chicago in June! You will find us regularly attending NeoCon in Chicago however you might be surprised to know that NeoCon is just one of the events taking place, at that time.
Wondering “What is NeoCon”? NeoCon has served as one of the world’s leading platforms and most important event of the year for the commercial interior design industry since 1969! NeoCon features game changing products and services from over 400 leading companies and emerging players, providing access to the latest and most innovating solutions in commercial design.
NeoCon is hosted at theMart, an iconic building has been part of Chicago’s history since the early 1930’s. Originally it was created as a central marketplace where retailers could come to buy items all under one roof. With so much history the building naturally boasts architectural charm from a variety of eras.
If you are coming specifically for work and interested in seeing more from the design industry – make the most of the trip by taking a walk to the Fulton Market District. WorkWell is a Teknion branded signature event which takes place at the same time as NeoCon. This year we are proud to share that Teknion has a new showroom at the Fulton Market boasting their LEED Platinum and WELL Certified space. Teknion wanted to reimagine the showroom experience to have dynamic areas that promote internal engagement and inspire future workplace designs.
For us, the most exciting component of returning to Chicago in June is the people in our industry. Seeing so many smiling faces, re-connecting and bringing people together offers such benefit. We believe the energy of our colleagues increases motivation and collaboration as well just being together simply encourages creativity. Surrounding yourself with high quality product, innovation and seeing the latest trends fortunes us with new appreciation on “the why” behind our roles and what we can bring to clients. Learning the stories behind how products came to be is advantageous when showing these products as they land in our showrooms locally. Let’s not forget our desire to TRAVEL! How fortunate are we all to have access to international travel again and the opportunity to connect and support like-minded businesses?
